Installation is a matter of mounting the controller next to the selector unit in the motor room. Cable installation is simplicity itself and consists of:

  • One wire for each level of announcement.
  • One wire for a common announcement.
  • Two wires for the trigger, (Start Message Signal).
  • Two wires for the transformer coupled car speaker
  • Two wires for a single phase, 230 volt supply.

The controller undertakes transformation of the audio signals to a higher voltage, and the car speaker transforms these back to audio voltage levels thus minimising distortion and spurious noise. Adjustment of the car speaker volume is made at the controller.

The standard controller can have up to twenty signal inputs requiring a trigger signal. Adding another intelligent interface board allows another twenty inputs without the addition of a corresponding separate trigger board. Any signal from this board also overrides any signal from the standard interface allowing for priority type signals such as door obstruction or fire.

  • Power supply - 230 Volts ac or 50 Hz
  • Input Signals -12 or 24 Volts dc or ac or 230 Volts ac
  • Dimensions - Controller - Length 510mm X Width 310mm X Depth 90mm

Dimensions - Car Speaker - Length 155mm X Width 155mm X Depth 70mm

In most cases the installation of LiftVOICE is undertaken by Lift Companies or independent authorised installers.

Installation of LiftVOICE is dependent on each lift and can vary from 2 to 3 days for a complete retrofit to 1 - 2 days for an upgrade.

Our installers will always ensure arrangements are in place to iminimse inconvenience before any work is carried out on a lift.
